Mr. Sewer Celebrates 25,000 Service Calls

He has been called Central Illinois’ Drain expert; to many a Sewer Hero!

Bruce E. Winborn A.K.A. Mr. Sewer is both and he has the record to prove it. Working solo, Mr. Winborn has done over 25,000 service calls, since he started Mr. Sewer in the spring of 1982. Mr. Sewer is a locally owned and operated sewer and drain cleaning service operated by Mr. Winborn, a life long Peoria area native. He has worked on everything from mansions to shacks. Up on roof-top vents, and down in trenches, and too many basements to count. Unclogging everything from bathtubs clogged with hair to main sewers with tree roots as large as a man’s legs. Kitchen sink drains, floor drains, clogged toilets, laundry drains, you name he’s probably done it.

Over twenty years and over 25,000 service calls, you would think Mr. Sewer has seen it all. “They keep inventing new problems.” Winborn says. “just the other day I pulled a credit card out of a toilet (women’s room) at a local tavern.” Winborn says that most of his jobs are residential and small commercial accounts. “My business is based on loyal, satisfied repeat customers and their referrals. If you do a good job and treat people right they will be life time patrons. I have many customers that have been with me since year one. Now I’m getting their adult children as customers.” Winborn laughs, “Maybe I ought to start a family plan.”
